I have a mare that has an amazingly thick mane and tail. This can be a rather pain to keep up with. If I don’t keep her mane braided, it get awful knots that are hard to get undone without ripping out part of her mane.

We had a barrel race scheduled for today, but due to some rain that left the arena’s footing unsafe, it was canceled. So what should I do when the rain is coming down and Mother Nature is not allowing me to ride?
